Aidolon Systems LLC – Terms of Service

Welcome to Aidolons.com, operated by Aidolon Systems LLC (“Aidolons,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Virginia Limited Liability Company. By accessing or using Aidolons.com, the Aidolon Browser, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

1. Introduction​

    Aidolons develops and maintains the Aidolon Browser and associated Services designed for browser automation, web scraping, workflow automation, and dynamic website interaction. Our Services simplify complex tasks so users can focus on building rather than troubleshooting. This TOS also applies to any future AI content-generation tools and their storage through Supabase.

  2. Key Features

    • Intuitive Interactions: Automate browser actions using natural language commands or technical selectors.
    • Session Management: Save and reuse authenticated browser sessions for streamlined workflows.
    • Real-Time Visibility: Monitor and interact with live browser sessions.
    • Smart Automation: Use natural language queries and intelligent parameter handling for efficient scripting.

2. Acceptance of Terms​

  1. Binding Agreement
    By creating an account, purchasing credits, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

  2. Modifications
    Aidolons reserves the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. We will endeavor to notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the Services after any such updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Eligibility & Age Restriction​

  1. Age Requirement
    You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using or accessing any part of the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement.

  2. Compliance with Laws
    You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Description of Services​

  1. Aidolon Browser & API
    The Aidolon Browser and related API enable automated browser tasks such as web scraping, workflow automation, and dynamic website interaction.

  2. Future AI Features
    While Aidolons currently focuses on browser automation, we plan to offer AI content-generation tools (e.g., text, images, videos) and store generated media in our Supabase database. Additional usage terms may apply to new features as they are introduced.

  3. Disclaimers on Performance
    We strive to ensure the Aidolon Browser functions as intended; however, performance may vary based on system resources, third-party websites, and other factors beyond our control.

5. User Accounts & Registration​

  1. Registration Process

    • Accounts are managed via Clerk, supporting sign-in with Gmail or email-based login.
    • You must provide accurate account information and update it as needed.

  2. Account Security

    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
    • You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

6. Payment & Billing​

  1. Credits & Subscriptions

    • Certain features (e.g., advanced browser automation tasks) may require purchasing credits.
    • We may introduce subscription plans in the future.

  2. Payment Processor

    • We use PayPal to process payments, including credit cards.
    • Aidolons does not store your payment information on its servers.

  3. Refund Policy

    • Payments primarily cover server and LLM (large language model) fees.
    • As such, refunds are generally not provided.

7. Acceptable Use & Conduct​

  1. Prohibited Activities

    • You may not use the Services to engage in unlawful activities, infringe on intellectual property rights, distribute malware, or violate the privacy of others.
    • You must have all necessary rights or permissions for any data you automate, scrape, or process via the Aidolon Browser.

  2. User Responsibility

    • You assume full responsibility for your actions and the data you interact with.
    • Aidolons is not responsible for monitoring or vetting the legality of your activities.

8. Intellectual Property​

  1. Aidolons’ IP
    All technology, documentation, code, trademarks, and branding related to Aidolons are owned by Aidolon Systems LLC. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

  2. User-Generated & AI Content

    • For any future AI-generation features, the user owns the output they create or instruct the system to generate.
    • Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your AI-generated content to Aidolons.

9. Content Removal & Copyright​

  1. DMCA / Copyright Claims

    • Aidolons respects intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please notify us with all relevant details.
    • We reserve the right to remove or disable access to infringing content and take appropriate actions against repeat infringers.

  2. User Obligations
    You must ensure the legality and non-infringing nature of all content and data you process using our Services.

10. Disclaimers & Warranties​

  1. “As Is” Basis
    Aidolons provides all Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with no express or implied warranties of any kind.

  2. No Guarantees
    We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability​

  1. Exclusion of Damages
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aidolons shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

  2. Liability Cap
    In no event shall Aidolons’ total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for using our Services in the 6 months prior to the event giving rise to liability.

12. Indemnification​

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aidolon Systems LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any intellectual property or other rights.

13. Termination​

  1. Termination by Aidolons

    • We may suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any violation of these Terms or misuse of our Services.
    • We reserve the right to investigate any potential breach.

  2. Termination by User

    • You may stop using the Services at any time.
    • Closing your account terminates your right to access features that require an active account.

  3. Data Retention

    • Upon termination, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
    • Any user-owned content generated by future AI features may remain stored for a limited period, subject to your right to request deletion.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution​

  1. Governing Law
    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

  2. Dispute Resolution
    Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved in the courts located in Virginia, USA, unless you and Aidolons mutually agree to an alternative form of dispute resolution.

15. Changes to the Terms​

We reserve the right to modify, update, or otherwise alter these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced via prominent notices on our website or by email. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
